She has placed clients in major print publications including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, USA Today, Forbes, BusinessWeek, Entrepreneur Magazine and in hundreds of vertical publications.
With almost a decade of public relations and journalism experience combined, Walsh is a seasoned marketing communication professional. She has both corporate and agency experience working with consumer and business-to-business clients. Clients have spanned the high-technology spectrum including financial services software, enterprise and consumer security, disaster recovery, real-time search, application and web development, enterprise and consumer social networking, open source, advertising platforms, CRM, marketing automation, and a consumer blogging platform for women.
Prior to public relations, Walsh served as a journalist for NBC in Denver, CNN in Los Angeles and various national radio news
outlets. With a passion for the news business and experience as a working journalist, she has a unique ability to craft newsworthy stories to help position companies as leaders of their industry and executives as experts in their respective fields. She has strong working relationships with reporters and editors at top-tier business and news publications and has placed impact stories for her clients in every news medium including print, web, television and radio.
Walsh has a deep understanding of social media best practices helping companies and their executives build an online presence, thought-leadership and credibility. She has engineered smart social media campaigns that have attracted thousands of fans and followers. Walsh also has a unique knack for securing keynote and panelist speaker slots for executives at some of the most recognized technology tradeshows and conferences in the nation. Walsh holds a journalism degree from the University of Colorado, serves as the president on a non-profit board of directors, regularly volunteers for Make-A-Wish foundation and enjoys going 100 feet under water in tropical oceans. She lives in Boulder, Colorado with her husband, daughter and twin Goldendoodles.
